For employers with staff at screens all day - office, hybrid or home-based. DSE assessments compliant with the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992.

A practical evaluation of every workstation where staff spend significant time at a screen - desk, chair, monitor, keyboard, mouse, lighting and posture. Everything required under the DSE Regulations 1992 to reduce musculoskeletal and visual strain for your users.

Assess every workstation
Your consultant audits every DSE user - screen height, chair adjustment, desk depth, keyboard and mouse position, lighting and glare, posture during real working conditions. Hybrid and home setups mapped alongside office workstations. You leave with a per-user picture of risk.
One clear, prioritised report
You get a DSE-compliant assessment report per user, risk-rated and ready for an HSE inspector. A prioritised action list covers equipment adjustments, replacements and eyesight test eligibility - practical fixes ranked by risk. No 200-page document nobody reads.
Know who's responsible and what to do next
Controls set out - equipment standards, break patterns, posture training and when to escalate to an occupational health referral. A 30-minute walkthrough with your consultant ensures every finding is understood, with 30 days of email support.
Blended programmes

Sector-specific compliance
Builders Merchants
DSE can feel irrelevant to a merchant until you count the counter terminals and the buying, accounts and e-commerce desks sitting at screens for hours. Our assessment under the DSE Regulations 1992 covers everyone who counts as a genuine user and skips those who barely log in.

Warehousing & Logistics
Logistics hides its DSE users in plain sight: WMS workstations, transport planners and control-room screens staffed across long shifts. Our assessment under the DSE Regulations 1992 focuses on those prolonged-use roles rather than the warehouse floor.

Manufacturing & Engineering
On a manufacturing site, DSE risk concentrates in the design office and control room, where CAD and HMI operators sit at screens all shift while everyone else is on their feet. Our assessment under the DSE Regulations 1992 goes where the screen time is genuinely sustained.

Garden Centres
Behind the displays, a garden centre runs on EPOS tills, buying systems and admin that all clock up real screen time. Our assessment under the DSE Regulations 1992 covers the office and management users, with practical fixes for tills that double as desks.

Metal Stockholders
A stockholder's DSE users are the sales desk and the CAD and nesting operators planning every cut on screen, which is sustained, detailed work. Our assessment under the DSE Regulations 1992 gives those central roles the attention they need.

Childcare & Nurseries
A nursery's screen work sits with the managers and admin staff handling registers, EYFS records and safeguarding logs. Our assessment under the DSE Regulations 1992 stays proportionate, covering the genuine users rather than staff who are on the floor all day.

Frequently asked questions
What does a Competent Person actually do?
A Competent Person takes legal responsibility for your H&S compliance. That covers risk assessments, audits, policy, training coordination and regulatory compliance. You get accountability for getting it done, not advice you have to action yourself.
Can you work alongside our existing H&S team?
Yes. Many clients use us to extend their internal capability - specialist assessments, regulatory liaison, and Competent Person cover during absences. We support your team, not replace them.
How quickly can you start?
One-off projects can typically be scheduled within days. Partnership clients have a named consultant operational within two to three weeks. Urgent situation - an HSE inspection notice, for example - we mobilise faster.
What makes your sector specialists different from generic consultants?
A generic consultant applies standard regulations. Our specialists know the specific hazards common in your industry and the enforcement priorities that apply to it. For builders merchants, that means forklift operations around public access. For childcare, it means Ofsted compliance alongside workplace safety. For warehousing, it means racking inspections and shift-pattern risk.
What's the difference between the Partnership, one-off projects, and Compliance Cloud?
The Partnership gives you a named Competent Person who manages compliance end-to-end. One-off projects deliver specific services without ongoing commitment. Compliance Cloud is the software platform for real-time compliance management. Many clients combine them.
