Birmingham headquartered, Opus Safety secures BGF and OakNorth funding to supercharge growth

We are delighted to announce that Opus Safety has secured investment from BGF and OakNorth to fuel the next phase of our growth journey. This funding marks a significant milestone for our business, and we are proud to be partnering with two leading investors who share our ambition.

BGF is one of the largest and most active growth capital investors in the UK and Ireland, having invested in over 500 companies since its founding in 2011. OakNorth is a UK-based bank that provides debt finance to growth businesses. Together, their support will enable us to accelerate our expansion, both organically and through further acquisitions.

Managing Director Alistair Craig commented:

"This is a really exciting milestone for Opus Safety. We have built a strong business over the past decade, and this investment gives us the firepower to take things to the next level. We are focused on expanding our service offering, growing our team, and delivering even greater value to our clients across the builders' merchant sector and beyond."

The investment will support our plans to grow our health, safety, and HR consultancy services, expand our technology platform (Opus Compliance Cloud), and pursue further strategic acquisitions in line with our buy-and-build strategy.

We would like to thank our advisers and the teams at BGF and OakNorth for their support throughout the process. We look forward to what lies ahead.
