Health & Safety Awareness is a foundation-level one-day course suitable for anyone with responsibility for any aspect of health and safety. It gives a working overview of key legislation, safety management, risk assessment and the main hazards delegates are likely to encounter across sectors. Delivered on-site at your premises and tailored to your organisation's sector - typically facilities, catering, care, logistics, warehousing or light construction.

Assessment, certificate and record
Delegates complete a multiple-choice examination paper to gain the qualification and certificate. Opus can log the certificate into your training matrix so the record sits alongside wider H&S documentation.

Prerequisites
None required. Familiarity with your role, work area and any known hazards helps tailor the examples but is not essential.
What you get
Certificate of Attendance on successful completion of a multiple-choice examination. Delegates leave with a working overview of key H&S legislation, safety management processes and the principles of risk assessment and prevention. Refresher recommended every three years.
