Rebecca Knox

Rebecca Knox is an experienced health and safety and food safety professional with a strong background in consultancy, compliance and risk management.

As a Senior Consultant at Opus Safety she works with organisations across a range of sectors, providing practical, proportionate and commercially focused advice to help businesses manage risk, meet their legal responsibilities and develop effective health and safety and food safety arrangements.

Rebecca's approach is founded on the principle that effective health and safety should be embedded in the way an organisation operates rather than treated as a compliance exercise. She combines technical knowledge with a pragmatic understanding of the challenges businesses face, helping clients translate legislation, regulatory expectations and recognised good practice into workable arrangements. She has particular expertise in food safety and allergen management.

She previously worked in the regulatory sector of Environmental Health. Rebecca is a member of IOSH and of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, reflecting her commitment to professional competence and evidence-based practice. Her approach is practical, proportionate, collaborative and risk-based: supportive, but not complacent.
