Caroline Lee

Caroline Lee is an experienced Health and Safety Consultant who works with businesses across a wide range of sectors, helping them make sense of health and safety and food safety requirements and put them into practice.

She has experience with food businesses, nurseries, manufacturing, garden centres, builders' merchants and many other workplaces. Her approach is practical and proportionate, on the principle that health and safety should work for a business rather than simply create more paperwork.

Caroline previously worked as an Environmental Health Officer with South Staffordshire District Council, and brings that regulatory experience directly into her consultancy work.

Alongside her consultancy, she oversees a team of occupational health professionals supporting clients with health surveillance and occupational health referrals. This gives her a broader view of workplace safety and wellbeing, and allows Opus to give clients advice that considers both the risks of the job and the people doing it.

As a client's source of competent advice, Caroline gets to know the business, builds relationships with key stakeholders, identifies high-risk areas and helps put sensible control measures in place. Her aim is to help businesses understand what they need to do, why they need to do it, and how to do it well.
