Andrew Hughes

Andy Hughes has worked across engineering, manufacturing, office environments, logistics and construction.

He has over 20 years' hands-on experience in health and safety and risk management, alongside roles as SHEQ Manager, Quality Manager and Senior Operations Manager. He served his apprenticeship as an engineer.

Andy has driven positive culture change in previous organisations. As SHEQ Manager for a global petrochemical manufacturing and R&D company, he implemented ISO 3834 welding management and ISO EN 1090, integrating both with the existing quality and management systems.

He has led business assurance improvements including 100% Achilles compliance outcomes and the transition of company certifications to ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015. He has also led safety and quality focus groups that were integral to achieving Fit For Nuclear (F4N) Academy status.

Andy offers a bespoke service built around each client's needs, with a customer-first approach.
