Test every safety-critical employee on-site
Our Occupational Health technicians attend with all equipment. Finger-prick testing takes 5-10 minutes per employee and works around your shifts. You leave with individual results the same day and documented screening for every worker in a safety-critical role.
One clear, prioritised report
A management summary within 5 working days covering outcomes, trends, and anyone requiring further assessment. No confidential medical detail is disclosed. Employees receive their own results with an explanation of what the readings mean.
Know what's next
Abnormal results are referred to an Occupational Health Adviser, Physician, or the employee's GP. Where readings affect fitness for safety-critical duties, you get a Fitness to Work letter with clear recommendations. Retest cadence advised by the OHA based on individual circumstances.

Sector-specific compliance
Builders Merchants
Yard operations, loading safety, and customer-facing risk management. We understand the unique challenges of trade retail environments.

Warehousing & Logistics
MHE-intensive operations, racking safety, and loading bay risks. You need someone who can induct peak-season temps fast and ensure your night shift isn't a compliance blind spot.

Manufacturing & Engineering
24/7 production, machinery guarding, hot work, and COSHH exposure. You need someone who understands the tension between output targets and keeping people safe - and how to manage both.

Garden Centres
Seasonal displays changing weekly. Family footfall alongside forklift operations. Food hygiene in the café. Whether you're one site or ten - your risks are real and your compliance matters. You need someone who sees the full picture, not just the obvious risks.

Metal Stockholders
Heavy lifting, cutting operations, and materials handling across indoor and outdoor yards. Crane safety, manual handling risks, and COSHH exposure from oils and coatings. Your consultant knows this environment - not just the regulations that apply to it.

Childcare & Nurseries
Safeguarding requirements, fire safety in buildings designed for small children, food hygiene, outdoor play areas, and regulatory inspections from Ofsted as well as HSE. Your risk profile is unique - your consultant should be too.

Frequently asked questions
Which health surveillance tests does my business need?
The tests you need depend on the hazards your employees are exposed to. We start with a scoping call to review your workplace hazards and the surveillance obligations those hazards trigger. You know what you need, and why, before any booking is made.
Is occupational health surveillance a legal requirement?
Yes - when specific workplace hazards are present, occupational health surveillance becomes a legal duty. The HSE requires surveillance whenever employees remain exposed to workplace health risks, even after controls are in place. Specific obligations depend on the hazard: noise, vibration, hazardous substances, and respiratory risks each trigger different requirements under COSHH, the Noise Regulations, and the HAVS Regulations.
Where do the tests take place?
Testing takes place on your site. Our technicians bring the equipment to your premises - factory floor, warehouse, yard, wherever your employees work. No clinic appointments. No travel time for your team. Occupational Health Advisor and Physician appointments, where a clinical referral has been made, can be conducted remotely in some cases.
What happens when an employee's results flag a concern?
Flagged results are clearly identified in your report. Depending on the outcome, this may mean adjusted monitoring frequency, a Fitness to Work Letter with recommended workplace adjustments, or referral to an Occupational Health Advisor or Physician for clinical review. The next steps are set out for you, not left for you to work out.
What qualifications does your occupational health team have?
Our team are specialist-trained Occupational Health Technicians, trained in audiology, spirometry, HAVS screening, dermatology, face fit testing, and fitness to work assessments. They are supported by Occupational Health Advisors and Occupational Health Physicians for clinical escalation and complex cases.
Can you work around our shift patterns?
Yes - we schedule testing around your operational requirements, including night shifts, weekend working, and seasonal peaks. Testing is delivered on your site, so your employees stay on-site and available for their shifts before and after their assessment.
Should we screen new starters when they join the business?
Baseline screening at the start of employment is strongly recommended. It establishes a reference point for future monitoring and provides an early record of health status before workplace exposure. This protects both the employee and the employer if a condition is later claimed to be work-related.
We have drivers on site - do we need occupational health services?
Yes. FLT operators, HGV drivers, and heavy plant operators must be assessed against DVLA Group 1 fitness standards. Driver medicals confirm your employees are medically fit for safety-critical work and protect the business from liability if an incident occurs.
How is employee health data handled?
All assessments require employee consent before any data is collected or shared. Results are reported to employers in terms of fitness status: pass, monitor, defer, or refer. Clinical diagnoses are not disclosed. Confidentiality is maintained throughout.
