Use the right extinguisher, the right way
Fire Extinguisher Training covers the different types of fire extinguisher that may be present in your workplace and how to use each one effectively and safely. It also covers fire prevention, how fires start and the classes of fire. Delivered on-site at your premises so delegates recognise the actual extinguishers they would reach for in an incident. A closed course lets Opus tailor examples to your site's fire risks and procedures.

Three steps to a certified team
Pick the course, confirm a date, and we run the training. Every delegate leaves with a certificate - clear booking, clear agenda, no admin chase.
01
Scoped to your site
Opus reviews the extinguishers on your site, their locations and the fire risks present before delivery. Delegates then train on the specific extinguisher types they may actually need to use.

02
One-day delivery on-site
A one-day session covering the principles of fire safety, the hierarchy of fire prevention, how fires start, classes of fire, identification and use of different extinguisher types, and when it is safe to attempt to fight a fire.

03
Assessment, certificate and record
Delegates complete a short multiple-choice assessment at the end of the course. Successful delegates receive a Certificate of Attendance which Opus can log into your training matrix on request.
