Competent AED use when seconds matter
Defib Training gives delegates the skills and knowledge to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation safely in emergency situations. It is a regulated, nationally recognised qualification combining theory and hands-on practice. Delivered on-site at your premises for up to 12 delegates. A closed course lets Opus tailor the scenarios to your sector, AED location and incident procedures.

Three steps to a certified team
Pick the course, confirm a date, and we run the training. Every delegate leaves with a certificate - clear booking, clear agenda, no admin chase.
01
Scoped to your workplace
Opus confirms the roles delegates hold, your AED location and incident response arrangements before delivery. Scenarios reflect your environment so delegates leave ready to respond on site.

02
One-day practical training
A one-day session combining theory and practical demonstration. Delegates cover basic life support, recovery position, CPR, choking, safe use of an AED, handover to emergency services and basic AED maintenance.
